Booking & Tour Details: Everything You Need to Know
-
We offer complimentary front door pickup and drop-off service at hotels or anywhere else within the town of Telluride. So there is no need to come to us!
*We meet our Mountain Village guests at the gondola base terminal in Telluride.

Since we use open-air Jeeps, we remind our guests to dress for the outdoors. Our tours go up high into the alpine where temperatures can be surprisingly cool, even on the hottest days, so dress warmer than you think you should for summer.
Dress in layers and wear closed-toed shoes for the most comfortable experience.
*Bringing a rain jacket along is never a bad idea for any outdoor activity in Colorado during the summer.
-
YES! Our guests range in age from toddlers to the elderly. Jeep tours are a perfect activity for a group of mixed ages and/or fitness levels. That way everyone in your group gets to experience the same adventure.
*Anyone with neck or back injuries is not advised to go Jeeping.
-
Absolutely. Since we mostly travel on rough mountainside Jeep trails, the terrain is anything but smooth. Our guides strive to provide the gentlest possible ride in the most comfortable vehicles available, but the nature of the activity still makes for a bumpy ride.
*For a relatively gentler Jeep tour we recommend Last Dollar Road or Alta Lakes Ghost Town
-
Yes, we tour rain or shine. Our tour vehicles have basic safari-top rain covers but you may still get a little wet in rainy weather, so please make sure to dress appropriately. If weather becomes a safety issue we will always make conservative judgment calls regarding road conditions, etc.
*Summer rain showers are typically brief here in the San Juan Mountains.
-
No. We have learned to not mix eating meals with Jeeping, which is why offer before or after lunch departure times. You are certainly encouraged to bring along any water, snacks, or comfort items that you want to bring.
-
Yes indeed. If you would prefer taking a tour with just your group on the Jeep, we can custom tailor a private adventure for you. Dogs are also welcome on our private tours!
*Please call us directly to book.
-
Yes. We do make some brief stops at a few scenic/historic sites along all of our tour routes to allow for picture taking and a bit of exploring. No hiking is required.
*Our stops are at areas with rough uneven ground so please wear appropriate footwear.

Feel free to call us at 970-708-5190 with any questions. You can also book the ‘Guide’s Choice’ option which allows flexibility in the final route selection. Our guides want to take you on the best possible tour available and will fit you into the schedule of our most popular tours for that time of the summer season.
